Corventus is a team of seriously experienced Australian event professionals that have each worked in the event industry for a minimum of 15 years.

We come from a technical, theatrical, venue and creative event’s background extremely passionate about what we do and how we do it.

We do not believe in transferring or bouncing clients from person to person throughout the event journey and strongly believe that the client should have one main point of contact from conception to completion.

Patrick has over 20 years experience in the events industry across Asia Pacific, EMEA and North America. He has worked as an advisor to executives on many high profile events for enterprise level clients.

He has worked as an advisor to executives on many high profile events for enterprise level clients. Most often the sole contact for large accounts, providing a level of delivery superseding expectations, whilst keeping projects within expected delivery times and on budget.

Patrick’s event and production experience covers a career history including hospitality, technical production, video production, creative event design, production management, content and executive level management. He is a truly dedicated professional whom is constantly available to his clients and has a reputation of delivering flawless events.

Peter Hassall

Senior Event Producer

Peter has held senior management positions within Australia and overseas, creating, managing and producing events with a successful career spanning over 3 decades in the event and entertainment industry.

Peter has held senior management positions within Australia and overseas, creating, managing and producing events with a successful career spanning 3 decades in the event and entertainment industry.

Peter works from inception to completion, planning, delivery and execution incorporating creative design and production. His focus is on key outcomes for each client including the event message and emotion, artistic and creative direction creating an exciting journey for all.

Peter has worked in many positions including Managing Director, Event Producer, Lighting Designer, Technical Director, Stage Manager, Creative and Artistic Director to name a few. His passion for the industry is contagious and creating the magic and inspiring guests is what keeps Peter going.

Building a positive company culture through training, leading by example and delivering a strong positive bottom line is one of Peter’s strongest assets.

He has held positions on industry boards, festival committees, advisory groups and written training programs.

Peter founded his own Audiovisual, staging and event management company employing over 47 fulltime and part time staff delivering memorable and exciting events in Australia for over 7 years before successfully selling to a national industry leader.

 

Anthony Lee

Business Development

Anthony is a dynamic professional with over 20 years’ experience in operations management. He is an adept negotiator with excellent communication skills, truly caring about the client partner experience and is exceptional in reaching agreements through collaborative processes.

Anthony is a dynamic professional with over 20 years’ experience in operations management. He is an adept negotiator with excellent communication skills, truly caring about the client partner experience and is exceptional in reaching agreements through collaborative processes.

For over a decade, Anthony managed a diverse team overseeing the day to day needs of the business including corporate events, travel, and IT. He is solution driven and passionate about the delivery of first class client service and keeping the creative energy of Corventus flowing.

As an Operations Manager, Anthony works closely with fellow Senior Leadership team members to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of services to the client.  He is concerned with ensuring the smooth running of both the strategic and daily operations of the business. The focus encompasses project management, business upgrades, finance, supply chain management, logistics, marketing etc. The aim of which is to enhance the experience of working with Corventus.

Anthony has worked as a Barristers Clark and a Paralegal with a prominent Sydney law firm. He studied at the Legal Practitioners Admission Board covering the subjects Legal Institutions, Contracts, Torts, Real Property and Criminal Law.

An avid musician, Anthony played in live concerts with his band as well as coordinated sound and talent at a popular Sydney music venue.

These formative years gave the perfect foundation and inspiration for his current position in the event industry.

Matthew Russell

Technical Director + Producer

Matthew has a passion for live events as proven by his commitment and drive over the past 15 years. Throughout Matthews career, he has operated, produced and delivered thousands of events to an extremely high standard including roadshows, product launches, sales kickoffs and conferences across the Asia Pacific.

With just 15 years in the industry, Matt’s drive and deep passion for live events has seen him become one of Australia’s and Asia’s finest Technical Directors and Show Callers.

Matt has extensive knowledge of all things technical and event production related. He is well respected not only for his technical management and directional credits. He has also designed and operated video and audio systems, is a qualified rigger and CAD designer.

Matt is requested time and time again by return clients trusting no one else with their event.  Matthew’s attention to detail and performance under pressure puts any client at ease.

Matt has produced and delivered countless large scale and bespoke conferences, events, roadshows, product launches and sales kickoffs across Australia and the Asia Pacific to the highest of standards.
